About Bridgett

Hi, I’m Bridgett.

I have spent more than a decade helping people navigate some of life’s most painful moments.

As a Grief Educator, Author, and Speaker, my work is informed by more than a decade as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, former pastor, and my own experience as a bereaved mother. I have come to believe that grief is not something people need to “get over.” It is something people deserve to be guided through with wisdom, compassion, honesty, and hope.

Clinical Over a decade supporting individuals, couples, and families.
Pastoral Experience helping people navigate spiritual questions and painful seasons.
Personal Lived experience with stillbirth, grief, faith, and rebuilding after loss.
Published Author of Grief, Loss, and the Goodness of God.
What People Experience

Safe, practical, and deeply human.

Bridgett’s work helps people feel understood while giving them language, insight, and practical support they can return to long after the experience ends.

Bridgett creates such a safe and supportive space to be real. For the first time, I truly felt seen and understood in my grief. I’m so grateful I attended her seminar.
Seminar Attendee
Bridgett possesses a wealth of wisdom and experience in helping people navigate loss. I didn’t realize that, despite my best intentions, I wasn’t actually helping my daughter through her grief. I still revisit her teachings regularly and continue sharing them with friends who are supporting loved ones through loss.
Parent and Workshop Attendee
I’ve never experienced someone who combines clinical understanding with spiritual wisdom the way Bridgett does. It spoke to me on every level. Her genuine compassion and gentle delivery brought hope to one of the hardest seasons of my life.

The Book Behind My Work

Grief, Loss, and the Goodness of God

Written from the intersection of lived experience, clinical understanding, and pastoral care, Bridgett’s book helps grieving people wrestle honestly with devastating loss without denying their pain or abandoning hope.

The book serves as part of the foundation behind her workshops, professional training, speaking engagements, and private grief-support services.

People should never have to choose between telling the truth about their pain and believing hope is still possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

What to know before reaching out.

These answers explain who Bridgett serves, how engagements work, and what to expect when requesting a booking call.

Who do you serve?

I partner with churches, funeral homes, hospices, hospitals, pregnancy centers, counseling practices, nonprofits, employers, schools, and community organizations that want to better support grieving people.

I also work directly with individuals and families navigating grief and major loss.

What kinds of organizations hire you?

Organizations typically bring me in when they want to:

  • Support grieving individuals and families more effectively
  • Equip staff, leaders, or volunteers
  • Host a community grief event
  • Provide professional grief education
  • Offer meaningful support after the initial crisis has passed
What are the ways we can work together?

Organizations typically hire me for workshops, professional training, speaking engagements, and sponsored community grief events.

Individuals typically work with me through private Grief Breakthrough Sessions. Every engagement is customized to the needs of the person, organization, and audience.

Is your approach faith-based?

My work is grounded in my Christ-centered faith and seminary training, while also informed by my background as a licensed marriage and family therapist.

Some organizations invite me to teach from an explicitly biblical perspective.

Others prefer a broader grief education approach.

Every presentation is customized to the audience and its preferences.

Are your workshops only for Christians?

No.

While my faith informs who I am, I regularly adapt my presentations for audiences of all faith backgrounds, as well as healthcare organizations, nonprofits, employers, and community groups.

Can you customize a workshop or training?

Yes. Every audience has different needs. Together, we will determine the goals, format, language, spiritual emphasis, and content that will best serve your organization.

How long are your workshops?

Most presentations range from 60 to 90 minutes. Extended workshops, half-day trainings, and customized programs are also available.

Are you available to travel?

Yes.

I offer both local and travel engagements. Travel outside my local area is available for an additional fee. Virtual workshops and training are also available when appropriate.

Do you provide therapy?

No.

While my work is informed by more than a decade as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I no longer provide ongoing therapy.

However, I do offer Private Grief Breakthrough Sessions for individuals and families who are looking for focused, personalized support after the loss of a loved one.

These sessions are designed for people seeking compassionate guidance as they navigate grief and life’s next steps. While they draw from my clinical background and years of experience, they are not ongoing psychotherapy.

Do participants receive your book?

My workshops are informed by themes from Grief, Loss, and the Goodness of God. Books, digital resources, guided reflections, or companion materials may be incorporated depending on the engagement.
